Gold Coast Glow Worm Tour

I would highly recommend going. Tim ( a guide) provides a lot of interesting facts and information about flora, fauna and stars. We really enjoyed this tour. The trip to the National Park takes about 1 hour but we did not notice this time as Tom was talking about creatures, river, park, worms and it was very interesting. Thank you Tim for this great time!

It was amazing to see the glowworms and the path to the cave was interesting as well. Our guide ‘Tim’ was really informative about the glowworms. It was a special experience to walk in the rainforest. Although the weather was not good for stargazing the view was still great.

We truly enjoyed this extraordinary tour. The booking process was easy and they were on time with their pick up time which was excellent. The tour guides were also very informative, funny and engaging. Walking in the rainforest during the night was a new and quite thrilling and fun experience. The glow worms were very beautiful as well. The only thing we would like to suggest is maybe to show the people about the life cycles of the worm first before entering the forest as it will give the people better understanding of the consequences of turning their torches on inside the cave. overall we recommend this tour!

The tour was enjoyable and very informative. The tour guide took care of us very well and the pickup was on time. Its a must to experience this one of a kind glow worm tour! Stargazing was great too, the stars were really beautiful at night and our tour guide stopped for us to go stargazing!

The tour guide was thorough and comprehensive in his explanations along the tour. We were picked up and dropped off at Surfers Paradise / Broadbeach in a timely manner. The skies were clear at the time for stargazing. We were given torches to help us walk through Springbrook National Park safely at night.

The tour included: a 1 hour trip to get to Springbrook National Park from Surfers Paradise/Broadbeach, some stargazing along the way, then a 1km walking trail including a glow worm cave (small torches are given to you to use to help you walk in the dark which you get to keep after the tour), then a 1 hour trip back to Surfers Paradise/Broadbeach. The glow worms looked like little blue stars scattered across the cave walls. Along the way, the tour guide talked about Gold Coast attractions, some star constellations, and some trees along the walking trail. Because the walk was pitch black apart from the torches, you couldn’t see the surroundings well so it is better to go during the daytime if you want to see the rest of the natural scenery of Springbrook National Park. Also, the glowing mushrooms are also only visible during the warmer summer months.

I travelled together with my husband and 3 kids (ages 5, 10, 14). It was really an amazing experience seeing the glow worms and we enjoyed stargazing even the moon was a little brighter. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for everyone.

We were a family of 8, so we bought 2 family package (2A+1C) with an additional 1A and 1C, so that's supposed to cover for 5A + 3C. However, they missed out on 1 of our (2A+1C) package so we had to miss out as the tour bus is fully booked. Since our holiday is tight and we couldn't reschedule, thus we're awaiting for a refund for those who missed out. Otherwise, it was a nice trip to stargaze and look at glow worms but it is also dependent on the condition of the weather in order for a really good experience.

Amazing glow worms to be seen, which they are not able to be found anywhere else in the world apart from Australia and New Zealand. I think it's worth seeing for sure! Looking like constellations but just 1 metre away. Since it's at night too, it's quite worthwhile!

Best price you can get. So worth it! I have been searching the net, comparing different prices and deals, nothing beats this. The attraction is good. The glow worms are really nice and it was a good short trail. At the end of the day, not everyday or anywhere you can see glow worms. Great experience! Stargazing was awesome too!

Booking was fast with follow up action to confirm the tour. The Glowworm tour went smoothly. It was fun and the duration was just right. Tour was small with only 4 of us. We joined in Glow Worm Tour in Springbrook National Park. Glow worms in the cave were so beautiful, and we could also see some on the way to the looking points. The weather was not that good, so we could not see stars, unfortunately. But we could still see some bright stars in the sky. Not just awesome glow worms and stars, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and let us lots of things trying to show some wild animals in the park. We would absolutely to take this tour again some time.

The tour was a great experience for us. The guide was patient, informative and passionate in sharing about information of the glow worm tour and other attractions in Gold Coast as well. We enjoyed the tour a lot and learn more than just about glow work but also the rainforest and its inhabitants. It was amazing!

I had an awesome night in Natural Bridge. The tourist guide is great. He told us a lot of stories about Gold Coast and glow worms. I enjoyed it so much. Glow Worm cave is very beautiful at night. I also saw eels and green tree frogs in the forest. What a memorable trip and wonderful tourist guide! Thank you so much!

Our guide, Tim, was entertaining and highly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. We enjoyed the walking tour and the glow worms were wonderful (even though a little sparse given that it is the end of winter).

We had enjoyed tour with my kids. The pickup was on time. The waterfall is best in the glow worm tour I have seen. Guides also explained everything nicely for us not native English speakers!

The glow worm tour was an extremely interesting experience and I learnt a lot from our very knowledgable guide. The guide spent a lot of effort explaining about native plants and animals to us during the drive and throughout our walk. Kudos to him for kindly waiting for us at the lobby for an extended period of time as we had to look for a lost wallet right before the tour. All in all, a very insightful tour!

I had a good time. The tour guides were well-informed about Gold Coast and its attractions and the wildlife during the bus ride. The bus was clean and comfortable as expected. The tour itself was excellent as the tour guide described the various trees and showed us a myriad of insects and we saw a few animals as well! The glow worm cave was beautiful.

Me and my friends had a decent time with the glowworm tour and had a lot of fun. However I feel the tour can be improved if it was a bit longer since we felt we spent more time on the bus travelling and picking up people than we had bushwalking. Other than that it was very good, the tour guides were very friendly and informative.

We thought the tour guide was fantastic and had a lot of information about the glow worms and star gazing however I would have liked 10 minutes more in the glow worm cave. This time was then dedicated to stopping every minute to look at tiny spider or other insects that wasn't as fascinating. Over all the glow worm tour and stargazing was quite enjoyable.

We had a wonderful evening at Mt Tambourine we did the night glow worm tour. I went with my daughter and she was quite apprehensive about walking through the rain forest in the dark but it was a very easy walk and seeing the cave lit up by glow worms definitely made it all worth while. We both had a great time.

My husband and I were excited to visit Springbrook National Park. It was our first rainforest walk experience together at night. In our small group of 7, we had an educational night with our guide as he explained the history and culture of the area as well as on the park's unique plants and animals. Along the way he also pointed to us to the glow worms he spotted. We were excited to hear the beautiful cascading waterfall as we approached the Natural Bridge, where there were more glow worms. There were several other tour groups together on the same night hence the area can be a bit crowded. Our tour ended off with nice stargazing at a scenic spot the guide has chosen for us. We also had the mini beam light as souvenir after the tour. Overall it was a relaxing and special experience that I would definitely recommend!

We had an enjoyable night watching Glow worms with our tour guide Kosuke. He even took the time to explain about other plants and spotted marsupials for us. He was very knowledgeable about the aboriginal ways and delivered the entire tour with so much respect for the environment.

The tour is exactly as what you would have expected - you get to taste the thrill by walking into the rainforest at night time, see the natural cave and glow worms. If you visit Gold Coast, I would say it is worth visit once, that would be more than enough.

The way that the tour was carried out was great. The pick-up was just on time, the tour guide and driver were very friendly and the driver drove reliably and safely. However, the site in itself was less of a wonder than advertised. The worms were pretty but that's it. It wasn't anything too spectacular. Perhaps this tour is more for those who are deeply enthusiastic about the wonders of nature. It wasn't the tour's fault that the sky was cloudy, but unluckily we didn't get to see stars either. In summary, the execution of the tour was good but the site in itself was less than a wonder in our perspective. Hence, it was just okay.

Convenient shuttle pickup, punctual guides! It's was raining cats and dogs on the night of our tour, but the guides already prepared raincoats for everyone, and torches as well! After arriving at the national park, we were split into 2 groups of 8. Thanks to our guide who was knowledgeable about the biodiversity in the park, and was welcome to our question throughout the 1km walk. Because of the heavy rain, we could see a lot of glowworms inside the cave which was fascinating! This is a special experience that I would definitely recommend!

The glow worms were the highlight however for $100 per person is not worth it. It's not something I'll do again. $15 portrait of the glow worms and water falls should be included in the package not sold separately. Very far and I don't think it's safe to take kids, I did and there were spiders. The tour guide was very nice however very full on communicating about trees until we got to the glow worms we only stayed 5 minutes there. I will never do this tour again and it's not worth advertising again. People won't be happy I guarantee you.

Fantastic night tour. Informative and thoroughly enjoyable. Great tour guide, with amazing, broad amount of knowledge. I would highly recommend this tour. Great pick up/drop off service from accommodation, commentary from pick up point to tour site, and throughout cave/park tour. Great stargazing, again with a knowledgeable guide. Ten out of ten!!!!

The tour was very educational which included the history of Nerang, glow worms, and other interesting facts on the geographical nature of the rainforest of SpringBrooks. The tour guide was really friendly and offered to send me back to my place of stay besides the agreed location. One thing that can be improved is the articulation of the guide. Could not really understand some of his sentences. Other than this, everything was beautiful!

Booking was easy, pick up was on time and the tour operator staff a.k.a our guide Sam was very friendly and did a great introduction on the glow worm. He looked out for all of us and also briefed us on the various interesting species in Springbook National Park. It's not often to take a night walk in a national park and we'd recommend going for this. The glow worms were like stars within your reach. It was good that our guide pointed out the importance of maintaining the glow worms' natural environment without harming them with our lights. Unfortunately we encountered other visitors in the park who seemed to have went on their own and did not do their part in protecting the park and its inhabitants.

We had an excellent experience at the Glow Worm Caves. Our guide was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. The scenery surrounding the cave was amazing and we got to see lots of fauna. The cave itself was very well looked after and everything was done to ensure the worms were safe and unharmed. An amazing sight but the tour is very short for 30 mins ! Carry your own torches and wet gear.

It was magical as well as quite enriching. It was nice to see nature undisturbed which rarely the case in the country where I come from. The tour guides were really friendly and knowledgeable. (And funny too!! Thus making the journey very much entertaining) so glad that I took part in this once in a lifetime activity which opened my eyes to so much more that Gold Coast has to offer.

Pouring rain, no ones fault for this but did detract from experience. Cozzie was our guide. Could not hear guide 's instructions or talk in national park due to rain on ponchos sound and guides accent very difficult to understand. Glow worms were great, guide enthusiastic and did the best he could in the weather conditions but a bit off putting not being able to understand the content of talk due to strong Asian accent and pour pronunciation of words. Would have preferred going with the Australian guide Toni as I could hear her clearly. She took the other group. We have had lots of Asian tour guides in the past who were great. He was a great driver though.

That was a wonderful trip!!! We traveled by comfortable coach with explanation about attractive places along the way from accomodation to the mountain. Tour guide was knowledgable and friendly. Highly recommend!

I had great time! Both Tony (English tour) and Katie (Chinese tour)were very friendly and we had a small group of 15 - half with English tour and the other half with Chinese tour. Tony was very knowledgable and she knew her stuff really well. The only reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 is due to the price. I know the glow worm tour is generally around 100 dollars but the duration is quite short. 2 hour in transfer and about 40 mins walk and you see glow worm for about 10 mins. It wasn't boring at all as Tony explained about all the plants in the rainforest and so on. Overall, I was very satisfied with this tour and I did really enjoy it Thanks
